How it works
Every bag ships with a small card. Scan the code on it and the playlist opens on your phone, no app to install beyond the one you already use for music. The same list plays in the roastery while we are cupping, so what you hear is what we heard deciding the profile.
Why we do it
Coffee and records are both rituals with a lot of waiting built in. Grinding, blooming, the pause while a side plays through. Pairing them is not a gimmick, it is how the roasts actually get chosen here. A profile that does not hold up against the music it was cupped to does not go in a bag.
The playlists live with the coffee
Each roast keeps its own playlist, and the playlist can grow after the bag leaves. The card points at a link we control, so when a list gets added to, every bag already in a kitchen points at the new version.
